Tightly wound with a mineral backbone and restrained fruit. The challenging 2016 vintage shows in the wine's lean structure, but Meunier's characteristic spice and earth emerge as it opens. Still finding its balance after recent disgorgement in March 2019, but the underlying energy promises good development.
