Pichler's terraced holdings, Mühlpoint, Klosteratz, Loibenberg, Kellerberg and Steinertal, and vinified entirely in stainless steel, this is a pure, unadorned expression of Wachau Grüner. White pepper and citrus-edged yeast announce a savory character on the nose that carries straight through to the palate. The texture is smooth and composed, with a gentle flow and enough verve to keep things lively. Clean, focused and satisfying.
