Zind Humbrecht Riesling Grand Cru Hengst 2023

From a steep, east-facing parcel planted in 2016 at the top of Hengst, this is closed and golden, reluctant to give much on the nose beyond a cool whisper of tangerine. Patience and coaxing bring out more, but the real story is on the palate — taut, silky, and elongated, with a serene citrus thread running clean from entry to finish. Bone-dry and quietly brilliant.
