Wieninger Chardonnay Wiener 2023

Bisamberg fruit, stainless-fermented with 20% time in large used oak. Lemon curd and fresh cream on the nose, understated but inviting. On the palate it's lean and polished — citrus-driven, with a silky texture that flows cleanly through to a dry, bright finish. The oak contribution is subtle enough that this reads as pure, cool-climate Chardonnay rather than anything showy. Uncomplicated in the best sense.
