Crushed schist and black pepper lead the nose, with charcoal, wild sage and dark fruit pressed tightly together. There's a raw, stony quality here that sets it apart — grippy and focused, with taut, well-hewn tannins framing the mid-palate beautifully. The finish is long, cool-toned and precise. Serious Swartland Syrah with real mineral backbone. Drink 2026–2043.
