Moric Furmint H 2023

From the Hasznos site, where rhyolite, andesite, and granite combine in particularly stony soils — yet with enough water retention to keep the vines in balance. The nose is reserved, slowly offering creamy apple and a faint lees-like softness. On the palate, the concentration is striking: a bright, focused core wrapped in a smooth, yeasty texture that gives the wine a pleasing sense of grip without any rough edges. Phenolics and pith add structure, and that understated apple note carries through to a clean, extended finish. No frills here — just well-made, serious Furmint.
