Yellow pear and orchard fruit on the nose, ripe and generous without heaviness. The palate follows through with that same roundness, bone dry and clean, but lifted by a streak of vivid acidity that keeps everything taut. Worth noting that drought stress on the plain vines pushed Josmeyer to pull in select parcels from Hengst and Brand Grand Crus this year, enough to shore up concentration without tipping the wine's characteristic lightness. Racy and precise.
