Granite-grown and unoaked, with no malo to soften its edges, this wine earns its tension honestly. Pear flesh and pear skin on the nose, restrained and precise. The palate is where it opens up: stony, cool and almost vertical in its drive, the 7 g/L of residual sugar barely perceptible against that Riesling-sharp acidity. Pinot Gris power, but channeled with real discipline.
