Dirler-Cadé Riesling Spiegel Grand Cru 2023

From the Stein parcel on sandstone, marl and quartz, with 45-year-old vines doing the heavy lifting. Lifted and precise on the nose, Meyer lemon, green apple skin, a whisper of wet slate. The palate is featherlight this vintage, less density than you'd expect from Spiegel, but what it lacks in concentration it makes up for in crystalline purity. Bone-dry, with a finish that cuts clean.
