Drawn from four top Wagram sites — Spiegel, Stein, Rosenberg, and Kirchthal — with vines up to 35 years old, hand-harvested, basket-pressed, and aged on gross lees in large neutral barrels until the following May. The nose is quiet and composed: lichen, wet earth, lemon rind, and a faint yeasty lift that gives it real character. On the palate, that restraint opens up into something more generous — juicy, ripe fruit underpinning a savory, saline texture that feels distinctly of the Wagram. The whole thing resolves into a smooth, slender line with impressive length and a finish that stays fresh and clean long after the glass is empty. Bone-dry.
