Red cherry and almond on the nose, precise and restrained rather than generous. Dense and concentrated on the palate, yet cut through with real freshness, Hengst's characteristic drive keeping everything lifted and focused. A faint trace of warmth lingers on the finish, the only sign of the vintage's heat. Needs a few years to fully integrate. Drink 2027–2035.
