Amélie & Charles Sparr Riesling Sentiment 2023

Declassified grand cru fruit from Schoenenbourg and Brand, heat-stressed in 2023 as in 2022, vinified mostly in foudre with the balance in stainless. Mirabelle plum, ripe pear and orange zest open things up, with a soft lanolin thread running underneath. On the palate it's gentle and flowing, the fruit juicy and round with just enough citrus lift to keep it honest. Bone-dry, approachable now.
