Zind Humbrecht Riesling Sommerberg Grand Cru 2022

August hail wiped out half the Sommerberg crop in 2022, and the concentration shows. From the granite parcels with deeper topsoil, this is all white peach and yellow plum on the nose, ripe but delicate, with a faint citrus edge. The palate is bone-dry and crystalline, flowing effortlessly with a purity that belies the vintage's drama. Peach skin lingers on the finish, precise and juicy to the last.
