Zind Humbrecht Riesling Grand Cru Hengst 2022

Smoky and floral on the nose, with tangerine peel lifting the aromatics. The palate opens into something generous and sun-drenched — Mirabelle plum, ripe citrus, a juiciness that spreads effortlessly from front to back. Bone-dry, yet it never feels austere. The finish is long and zesty, bright without being sharp. Young vines from a 2016 planting on the eastern face of the Hengst, but already showing real composure.
