Wieninger Wiener Gemischter Satz Ried Falkenberg Bisamberg 2022

Sandy soils from weathered sandstone on the south-southeast-facing Bisamberg give this field blend, Weissburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Welschriesling and Neuburger, a light, airy character. Stainless steel fermentation keeps everything pristine and direct: green apple, citrus pith and a faint herbal thread on the nose, fresh and clean through the mid-palate. What distinguishes the Falkenberg is that apple pip bitterness on the finish, a small but defining detail that adds grip and character to an otherwise delicate wine. Bone-dry and immediately appealing.
