Weinbach Pinot Noir La Colline du Château 2022

Grown on Schlossberg's granite and vinified with 60% whole bunches, this spent 24 months in oak before bottling. A whisper of wood smoke and faint meatiness on the nose — subtle, almost fleeting. The palate is where it earns its keep: taut and slender, with superbly fine tannins framing dark fruit that pulses with energy and makes the mouth water. The granite speaks clearly here, lending a stony tension that holds everything in check. Give it a few years.
