Pure Chenin Blanc from Swartland, sourced from 39-year-old vines rooted in a shallow shelf of blue granite, a site Eben Sadie waited 14 years to work with. Whole-bunch pressed and aged in old foudres, the wine carries the soil openly: a stony, mineral-driven nose with a briny shellfish edge and a faint green olive note that adds intrigue. Taut and finely balanced across the palate, with a vivid acidity that cuts cleanly and white pepper prickling the finish. A distinguished new entry in Sadie's Old Vine Series.
