From the Bollenberg's driest pocket, the Stein parcel delivers a Pinot that wears its 18 months in barrel lightly, toasty warmth on the nose, but the fruit runs the show. Ripe cherry and red berry fill the palate with easy, aromatic generosity. Fine tannins give it just enough grip to feel structured rather than soft, and the freshness keeps everything honest. Dangerously drinkable, yet there's real substance here.
