Paolo Scavino Barolo 2022

Generous and approachable from the start. Red cherry, plum, cinnamon, and new leather come forward easily, framed by a cedar note that adds just enough structure. The tannins are soft and the whole thing is open-knit, no hard edges, no need to wait. Drink now through the next few years while that ripe fruit still has its glow. Nicely made.

Paolo Scavino

A Castiglione Falletto estate synonymous with single-vineyard Barolo, Paolo Scavino built its reputation on Bric dël Fiasc before expanding across some of the Langhe's most sought-after crus. Now run by the second generation, the wines remain precise, structured, and worth seeking out.
