Mullineux Syrah 2022

Fruit from all three main Swartland soil types, fermented with 80% whole cluster in large wooden vats. Brambly red fruit, white pepper and Provençal herbs on the nose — crisp and focused. Medium-bodied with a slightly viscous texture, the wine carries real presence without tipping into excess. White pepper pushes through to the finish, which is firm and austere. A gutsy, grip-forward Syrah that wants another year in bottle.
