Marcel Deiss La Limite du Royaume 2022

The maiden vintage from this east-facing Marckrain site, a field blend of Pinot Noir with a splash of white Pinots, planted at extraordinary density. Dark peony and iris lift off the glass, with a whisper of ash underneath. On the palate it's lean and luminous, carrying real concentration without any weight to speak of. Red fruit threaded through floral silk, with structure that feels more like fragrance than grip. Genuinely beautiful.
