Hamilton Russell Vineyards Pinot Noir 2022

Menthol-edged red cherry and dried herb on the nose, clean and focused if not quite as layered as the 2022 Chardonnay. Medium-bodied on the palate, with tart cherry fruit, lively acidity, and a grip that turns slightly chewy toward the finish. Sapid and food-friendly, with a tannic backbone that gives it some structure. Good.
