G.D. Vajra Barolo Ravera 2022

Dried cherry, chalk dust, white pepper and dried herbs with a sharp mineral backbone that cuts through everything. This is a lean, austere Ravera, tightly knit tannins and a mid-palate that feels compressed at this stage, though the balance for the vintage is genuinely impressive. Whether the core fills out with time is the open question. Cellar 2028–2042.
