The Kellerberg faces south-southeast but catches slightly less sun where the Höhereck ridge casts its shadow — and you can sense it in the wine's disposition. Spiced grapefruit, greengage and Reine Claude plum give the nose a bright, juicy character without tipping into overt richness; a bergamot note floats above it all with quiet distinction. Full and round on the palate, yet animated by a crackling citrus energy — grapefruit zest, a taut acidity, everything moving forward with youthful momentum. Stony depth is there underneath, anchoring the fruit, though you have to search for it beneath all that exuberance. Bone-dry, pure, and long — give it a few years to settle into itself.
