Egon Müller Riesling Wiltinger Braune Kupp Le Gallais Auslese 2022

Sourced almost entirely from botrytised fruit, this Braune Kupp Auslese opens with tart red apple, iron-tinged mineral notes, and something leafy and slightly herbal — oxalis, almost. A second pass brings ripe stone fruit flooding in, juicy and generous. On the palate, the sweetness is real and richly layered — yellow peach compote, passionfruit, lemon curd — yet it never feels unguarded. Cooked peach adds texture and grip, and a persistent citrus edge keeps everything honest. Rounded and lush, but with enough tartness to hold the line.
