Flint, lime peel, and grapefruit on the nose, with a crushed-herb edge that reads clearly granitic. Taut and precise on the palate, the kind of straight line you can trace from attack to finish, softened just slightly by a creamy yeast texture and a faint nutty note from oak that never gets in the way. Ripe without being heavy, composed without being austere. Drinking well now, but the structure here suggests it has more to say with a few years in bottle.
