Hollerin sits on deeper loam over weathered gneiss, southwest-facing, and the 2022 shows that richer soil character from the first sniff, tangerine and Navel orange peel, unhurried and fragrant. Bone-dry on the palate, but the fruit is generous: juicy Navel orange with real zestiness and a lifted aromatic quality that keeps it from feeling heavy. Slender and well-defined, with a finish that stretches longer than you'd expect from such a composed, clean-lined wine.
