Grown on Oligocene limestone just below Grand Cru Furstentum, with 20% whole-bunch and 16 months in pièce behind it. Bright cherry and rose petal on the nose, precise and alive. The palate follows through with real grace, silky, light-footed, yet there's genuine density underneath the polish. Firm without weight, detailed without fuss. Hard to resist.
