From 50-year-old vines in the heart of Sommerberg, this is all about the tension between ripe and fresh. Lemon zest and stone-driven precision cut through the generous pear fruit, ripe flesh and faintly bitter peel, keeping everything taut and alive. Bone-dry, with real verve. The finish is brief, but the interplay while it lasts is lovely.
