Reduction dominates the nose initially, but patience rewards with lemon and a quiet stony undercurrent. The palate is where this wine earns its keep, pithy and structured, with a phenolic grip that gives real shape to the citrus core. Passion fruit flickers through mid-palate, lifting the whole thing before a bone-dry, austere finish pulls it back to earth. Old vines on Triassic limestone facing east, and it shows: this is a cold-climate Riesling with edges and angles, not warmth.
