Shy and restrained at first, then the palate opens with bright lemon curd, crushed granite, and a saline thread that runs clean through the finish. There's an herbal edge, something between fresh thyme and wet stone, that keeps it honest. Taut and linear, yet the surface is almost playful, all citrus juice and lift, before the granite terroir reasserts itself with real authority. Serious wine.
