Peach skin, rose petal, and a whisper of lychee on the nose, opulent but not overblown. On the palate, the 47 g/L residual sugar reads as richness rather than sweetness, carried by a citrus-bright spine that keeps everything taut. Mirabelle and orange zest build toward a finish that starts generous and narrows to something almost austere. Catherine Faller called it 'Baroque at the start, Gothic at the finish', she's right, and there's nothing left to add.
