Marcel Deiss Schlossberg Grand Cru 2021

Granite-rooted Riesling with a little Pinot Gris and Muscat woven in, and it shows, there's a purity here that feels almost elemental. Lemon and bergamot cut clean on the nose before Mirabelle softens the edges. The palate is all crystalline citrus tension, ripe Amalfi zest with nothing blurred or padded. Bone-dry, concentrated, unrelenting, and completely thrilling for it.
