An intriguing white from Pla de Manlleu in Penedès, equal parts Roussanne, Marsanne, Parellada Montònega, and Chenin Blanc. Ripe pear, grated apple, and a faint savory, almost flor-like note on the nose that suggests oxidative complexity without ever crossing that line. Dry and genuinely refreshing, with more substance and character than the lightness of touch implies. A chalky, almost powdery mineral dusting on the close gives it a stony, distinctive finish.
