Dirler-Cadé Riesling Saering Grand Cru 2021

Grapefruit pith and a whisper of smoke on the nose, then the palate sharpens into something more angular, citrus-driven and saline, with a distinctly sandy, almost granular texture that keeps it honest. The Oligocene limestone over Triassic sandstone shows its hand clearly here. At 6 g/L RS it reads dry, and the finish is taut and clean. More immediately welcoming than the other Dirler-Cadé grands crus, yet built to reward patience.
