Ceritas Chardonnay Trout Gulch 2021

Intensely mineral and saline from the first sniff, crushed stone, citrus peel, dried wildflowers and a sharp hit of white pepper. There's real concentration here, the kind that stains the palate and lingers well past the finish. Still carrying some youthful austerity, with a firm, almost austere backbone that hasn't fully opened. Give it two to three years and it should integrate beautifully. Trout Gulch at its most uncompromising.
