Bott-Geyl Pinot Gris Sonnenglanz Grand Cru 2021

Crystalline and cool, with a stony precision that feels more like Chablis than Alsace. White pear, lemon curd and a faint chalky minerality cut through cleanly, the texture polished and seamless without any of the usual Pinot Gris weight. Bright acidity keeps everything taut and focused. Atypical for the variety, but completely compelling.
