Amélie & Charles Sparr Pinot Noir Amour Interdit 2021

Mambourg Grand Cru limestone gives the bones here, even if the label can't say so. Red fruit all the way, tart redcurrant, wild strawberry, a whisper of dried rose. White pepper and hedgerow cut through with real precision. The whole-bunch component (70%) lends lift and a faint spice that threads through to the finish. Slender in frame, but the tannins are impeccably fine and the purity is hard to argue with.
