Alheit Vineyards Fire By Night 2021

Formerly Broom Ridge, the 2021 Fire By Night opens with a seductive nose of mirabelle plum, jasmine and faint candle wax, shy at first, but patient coaxing draws it out. On the palate it's cohesive and well-proportioned, with a saline backbone and a quiet spiciness that holds back before revealing lemongrass and white pepper on a lingering finish. Superb.
