Austere and tightly wound on the nose, lemon zest, pear peel, a cool mineral reserve that gives little away. The palate is more generous: Reine Claude plum, a smooth juiciness, with a faint yeasty creaminess threading underneath. That pear-skin grip resurfaces on the finish, adding texture without harshness. Zero residual sugar and 8.6 g/L acidity keep everything lean and purposeful. Sixty-year-old vines on a steep, unterraced Wineck-Schlossberg parcel have built real depth here, it's just compressed, not yet ready to show its hand. Patience is mandatory.
