Albert Mann Pinot Noir Grand H 2021

Red cherry and fresh hazelnut lead the nose, framed by the cool precision of the 2021 vintage, nothing overstated, everything in its place. On the palate, redcurrant and white pepper come through cleanly, carried by tannins so fine and supple they barely register as structure. There's genuine depth to this wine, a sense of fruit anchored in cool, mineral earth rather than floating on top of it. The finish is fresh and unhurried. Worth noting: this is the final release under the Grand H label, from 2022, the wine appears as Hengst Grand Cru.
