Albert Boxler Pinot Blanc 2021

Granitic soils from around Niedermorschwihr, with old Auxerrois vines dating back to 1943 and 1946, show clearly in the purity here. Yellow pear and lemon zest on the nose, clean and unfussy. The palate is lean but focused, 2021's natural freshness giving it a snappy, nervy edge that lifts the whole wine. Bone-dry finish with more vivacity than you typically expect from Pinot Blanc.
