Mullineux Syrah Granite 2020

Red cherry, dried violet, terracotta and a faint trace of bergamot on the nose, the lower pH of this granite-site bottling gives it a lifted, precise character. Medium-bodied, with tannins that grip without harshness and a core of fruit that holds its shape through the finish. White pepper and sage linger on the aftertaste, adding a savory, stony dimension. Give it two or three years and it will show even better.
