Le Pianelle Bramaterra 2020

Polished and generous, this 2020 Bramaterra has real presence without being showy. A 12% whole-cluster addition adds a faint structural undercurrent rather than obvious stem character — it integrates cleanly into the wine's supple frame. Bright red fruit, dried violets, and a light iron-earth note give way to soft, approachable tannins and a medium-length finish. Of the two Bramaterras from Le Pianelle, this is the more open-handed expression — drink it over the next several years while the more serious sibling sleeps.
