Kanonkop Wine Estate Pinotage Estate 2020

Pinotage that makes a quiet but convincing case for the variety. Fermented in open-top tanks and aged 16 months in 80% new oak, it shows blackberry, bilberry and a clean, focused fruit character that never tips into excess. Medium-bodied, with supple tannins and fresh acidity keeping everything in line. The finish is precise and gently persistent. Lovely winemaking.
