Pale ruby, almost translucent at the rim. Pomegranate, dried rose, and a trace of forest floor on the nose — delicate and unforced. On the palate, red fruit stays light and airy, with a faint peppery spice and lively acidity that keeps things tidy through to the finish. Modest in depth but genuinely pretty in the way good Poulsard from old Chalasses vines tends to be. Drink over the next two years.
