Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino Madonna delle Grazie 2020
Crushed cherry, rose petal, blood orange and clove lift from the glass with impressive freshness and clarity. Silky in texture, the fruit is ripe and generous — red and blue berries carried by a fine, iron-inflected minerality and a citrus-driven brightness that keeps everything honest. Tannins are fine-grained but build steadily toward the close, where residual acidity and a lasting sour cherry and violet pastille linger far longer than expected. There's real concentration here, yet nothing feels heavy or overworked — structure and fruit move in lockstep from first sniff to finish. One of the standout wines of the 2020 vintage.
Il Marroneto
