Dirler-Cadé Riesling Belzbrunnen 2020

Quietly compelling. The sandstone-clay Belzbrunnen lieu-dit gives this a lean, minerally backbone that shows immediately on the palate, taut and streamlined, with pear skin phenolics and a clean snap of lemon rind. The nose holds back, offering little more than a cool, stony whisper, but the mouth delivers real concentration and precision. Dry and focused, it's easy to understand why Dirler-Cadé pulls from here for their Crémant base.
