Ripe to the point of extraction, with jammy blackberry compote and dried herbs fighting through heavy oak vanillin. The palate is dense and chewy, almost syrupy in its concentration, with massive tannins that feel disconnected from the fruit. Everything sits in separate layers right now. Needs until at least 2025 to start coming together.
