Marl and gypsum from mid-slope vines between 30 and 60 years old give this a distinctly chalky, saline backbone. The nose is quietly compelling, crushed stone, lemon zest, a whisper of cream. On the palate it's bone-dry and laser-straight, yet moves with an almost effortless grace. Concentration without weight, precision without austerity. Crystalline and complete.
